Hi. I have a 2002 Ford F250 7.3 turbo diesel. When it sits for awhile (about 16hrs) I must crank the starter to get the oil pressure up so that the injectors fire. Already replaced gasket, o-rings and lower filter screen of reservoir for high pressure injector pump, and anti-drain back check.

Ensure the oil and filter (Motorcraft only) have been recently changed and that the oil level is up to the FULL line. If problem persists, consider replacing both fuel filters and the fuel pump.
