Ipconfig /renew says it can't do it while the media is disconnected. The router is buried in Uverse (wireless) and other PC's (such as the one I'm on now) are connected and working.
There are no cables to reconnect. My card is a DW1520 Wireless-N WLAN Half-Mini Card, which, according to Device Manager, is "Working Properly."

Media Disconnected seems to be in the way of specifying or somehow configuring a real default gateway. TIA for any help.
