The energy required to remove an electron from sodium is 2.3eV.does sodium show photoelectric effect for yellow?what is wavelength for photoelectric emission from sodium?

Use the formula E = hf

Where E is the energy in joules, h Planck's constant and f the frequency of the emitted light. Do you know the frequency of yellow light? You'll need to know this to answer the question.
