I am starting an office and house cleaning business in the CO area,
I have seven years of professional cleaning experience and I want to branch off and work for myself. I have to employees who will be working with me. Any suggestions on how to get my license and insurance? Or should I be bonded?

What kind of license? Yes, I think you should get bonded. You never know what can happen, soemthing for which you can be held responsible. As far as insurance and bonding, contact an agent who handles multiple lines, give that person the info and let him/her find the best company and rate for you.

Hi Judy, I agree with you Judy on bonding for residential cleaning however it is not necessary for commercial cleaning unless required by a specific bid such as a municipal, other government/s or by large prospects for very specific reasons such as high security.

Great minds think alike (or something). I don't know that bonding is necessary by law (or contract) but I wouldn't work without it. Too many people lose something and blame someone else. No guarantee how honest employees are.

A lot of the decision might depend on the cost of the bond.
