Where is the leak: out the spout or down the face of the mixing valves?

    stems seating
Does that mean the washers and seats or just the washers on the end of the stems?

Harold asks a great question, did the seats get refaced or replaced when you installed new washer? This could be your issue. I always reface or replace the set too
