    Can't find the heartbeat...
According to the calculations I am due 8/2/11. So as of last Tuesday I was 10 weeks, 1/4/11. Went in for my 2nd ultrasound & the Dr could not find the heartbeat. Back on my first apt 12/22/10 we found one, but it took a while. You can see that there had been growth. Is this normal, could the baby be turned in such a way that the heartbeat is hidden from the ultrasound vaginal wand?
PS... They took blood & I go back on Monday for a follow up.

Your little one is moving around a lot, active is good even at l0 weeks, so the technician couldn't locate him/her. Yes, the it is normal. You will go through this every ultrasound and will see him/her bounce around and the ultimate is being 7 months pregnant and seeing him/her jump around in there to movement, music, your mood swings. They are so in tune with us inside it is amazing. Just keep all of your appt. up to date and keep abreast of developments and enjoy your amazing pregnancy jls.

Good luck and take of both of your proper nutrition, vitamins for you and (them) and I hope you have a good obygyn to take care of you both or possibly an 'doula' .
