My fiancé got an adoption summons saying you are hereby summond and required to file an answer in writing to the attached verified petiti9n for adoption within 20 or 30 days after surved.we need advise and help on what to write in the letter so that we can decline the other party from adopting the child.

Is your fiancé a part of the child's life? Does he visit or otherwise contact the child? Does he pay support?

A simple letter stating:

To Whom It may concern.
I response to <insert docket #> I hereby inform the court that I do not consent to the adoption of <insert child's name>. I am a part of my child's life and intend to continue to be. I see my child <insert visit info> and talk to her regularly.

Therefore, I do not intend to relinquish my parental rights.

Family courts are more informal and this should be sufficient. Make sure he stays on top of the court proceedings and attends any hearings.
