Well we have known each other for 18 years we went to school togather I liked her then but I was a bit of a mad teenager well we stayed friends but never really seen each other for years I have been going through life in party mode and relationships never lasted but most ended on good terms but something changed in me that made me think of life and well we started talking about 2 years ago and became good friends again went out a few times but over the last 6 months I have been having feelings for her I told her on new years that how beautiful she was she blushed and went red she can't go out much as she has kids so stayed in I know how bad she was let down and hurt in her last relationship that is long over I want to tell her how I feel but I'm scared it will ruin our friendship but I can't help it that I'm in love with her

So far so good, I mean she accepted to go out with you few times which means she feels comfortable around you, I'd say continue w/e u doing right now and when you feel like both could go to next step ( a date ) go for it.

Well after talking she stated she does not trust me enough because of my past but she has feelings to I told her I understand and will prove to her that I mean what I say about calming down so we will still go out on a date and work it from there
