I remember as a child watching a film and I still think about it now, it was about a young mentally challenged boy who befriends a little girl and its set in America I believe, I think she was hurt and he was blamed and in the end he falls in a river whilst reaching for her doll, anyone know what its called? It's been bugging me for years.
