I heard this was an awesome place to go to for advice. So here it goes...
I meet this girl about a month ago. We exchanged numbers and began talking ever other day.
We made plans to have dinner. We went out and had a good time. She txt me that night and said she even had a great time. About 2 weeks after that she came over my place, I cooked for her and we watched a movie and just kissed a bit. I txt her on Xmas to wish her a merry xmas and she never responded... never wished me a merry xmas... I txt her on new years to wish her a happy new years. She never responded. Two days ago I decided to txt her this "Hey just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year, I hope you had a good one. If you want to get together again just let me know". She reponded saying "Why would you say it like that for? Off course I would want to get to together again". I told her honestly that I felt that she was giving me the cold shoulder or trying to give me a hint... and she responded "Hmm...I guess I can see where you are coming from. I get weird like that in the beginning". Regardless, We made plans for this weekend. She asked me to come over and she was going to cook for me and watch a movie. Well she just txt me now and said "Don't hate me but i won't be able to do saturday. I forgot I had my friends dinner party and we are going our for drinks. I told her yes a month ago and I totally forgot". I mean this girl makes absolutely no effor to hang out with me. I am always the one contacting her. Should I just forget it?

Isn't it possible that she really did have a prior commitment that she forgot about? When she told you she couldn't see you on Saturday, you should have said something about setting up a date for the following Saturday.

I'd ask her out one more time, but if it doesn't come to fruition or if she doesn't respond to your calls/texts, then I'd forget about her.
