Serial numbers that end with a star are bills that have been reissued using the same serial number of the bills they replaced. Usually star notes bring a higher value because of their scarcity. Because all of the above notes are fairly new, they must be in uncirculated or crisp condition as well to bring a good price. The fifty dollar bill will probably bring the highest above face value because there were probably not as many star notes with the $50 issue.
How can I tell if a 2006 one dollar bill with a star at the end of the serial number is worth anything more than just a dollar?
