    Microsoft Word (form design)
Hello everyone, I'm a first timer.

Form design in MS GOT ME PUZZLED TO NO END.

I'm able to create a form-- but I cannot anchor the field in the proper location.

    Example of fields:

    Occupation: ____________________ Experience:_________________

When I type something in the Occupation field, the word Experience moves to the next l
Line. How does one anchors the field?

What you probably did was just use the Underscore Character (to the right of the 0) to create the line. This is fine if you are printing the form to be filled out by hand, but not if you plan on filling it out on the computer.

The better way to create a form is to use tables. I've attached a quick sample. I used a one row, 4 col table. I put the labels in the 1st and 3rd cols and left the 2nd & 4th blank. I then used the Borders and Shading to put a lin under the 2nd & 4th cols.

You can then type in those cols and the text to the right will not move and the enter will still be underlined.
