    Recquest for admissions from citibank/attorney
I was served a summons which I responded to back in October 2010 from a cc debt with citibank. >>a little background-I had made several attempts to settle with them from 2/09-9/09. I thought I would be able to do so but the nastiest person yet(and I had dealt with quite a few) got so nasty that I decided not to settle with them. I owed in the range $6000 but by 9/09 it was in the $8000 range from high interest, late fees, overlimit fees, etc.<<

I got a recquest for admissions from an attorney. If he is part of a group that bought my debt-so basically a collectiona agency, does he have the right to ask for all this info? I didn't sign an agreement with him but it says he is representing citibank at the top of the paperwork. Also, it was sent regular mail, how could he prove that I even received it? And it must be notarized?

And the recquest for production of documents? I don't have most of what they are asking and if they are suing me shouldn't they have all that?

I am gathering info and am researching how best to respond. Any help in this matter appreciated.
