Not sure if it is an Australian movie, It had a baby koala and a boy. He was trying to return the baby koala to its mother or the mother was killed I don't remember exactly how that part went but they were in the outback and a aboriginal boy helps him and shows him how to eat grubs worms out of a tree I don't know why that parts sticks out to me but any help would be appreciated
