I´m married to an EU citizen and the 5 years dependent visa was issued in London but due to incovenient reasons I had return to my home country. I would like to know how long I´m allowed to be abroad without returning to the UK and without, of course, paying taxes and whether that will affect my application for the LEAVE TO REMAIN (British passport) in the future when the dependent visa runs out. My wife´s Spanish and we were settled in the UK till a couple months ago.
