I got my cartilage pierced about 4 months ago. I got it done with a needle, and it was fine for a couple weeks until it got infected. I went back to the piercing place and they told me to use Neosporin on it twice a day for a couple weeks. I did, and slowly but surely, the infection cleared up. However, I think that the infection interrupted the healing as it has been 4 months and the piercing still crusts over and hurts when I sleep on it. What should I do? I'm getting frustrated as I didn't think it would take this long to heal. When will it heal completely?

Anywhere between 4 months to a year.

Leave it in for a little longer maybe for anouther four weeks and take it out to see if it's OK :) Hope I helped x
