I have a Kenmore Dishwasher, Model # 587.1524, the 'Washing' light is flashing and the dishwasher will not start. Would anyone happen to have the reset sequence code to reset this model ? Thanks

For a model 587.1624 Kenmore dishwasher....If your clean light stays on after the door is opened, turn the breaker off and on and that will reset the dishwasher. If it does it again after the next load, the problem could be a bsd switch on the latch assembly, or a bad diode on the control board. Mine had a bad IN5339B, that is connected to the door switch circuit. The diode was burnt... I replaced the diode and that fixed the problem, and saved me 100 bucks for a new control board.The diode cost less than a buck.
