I'm 15, female and have a best friend 15, and female and we've been friends just under 3 years I guess. We go through stages where we do loads together and chat about everything and then we drift for a few days/weeks and it goes round like that. I went through a stage where I was jealous of her hanging out with other friends and stuff and her boyfriend was a tool and I got jealous because he used to kind of push me out of the picture. I'm over that now but my mum and my sister say that it's weird and stuff because we go through stages and her ex said I'm obsessed with her and it was after a huge argument me and him had. I can't tell if I'm normal or not? I have other friends who go through stages with their best friends but I don't know :/ what do you thinkkkk?

We all go through different stages in life that takes us and others in and out of each others lives. That will continue forever I think. That's because people have a tendency to do their own things. Normal.

Its not that unusual either not to like, or get along with the people that some of our friends tend to do their thing with. Then we have to back up, and keep doing our own thing, and let our friends do theirs, whether we like it or not.

Its all good though, as long as we have our own thing to do, without them.

Yes, and realize how young you are, and how much your future depends on keeping it real. Like marriage without being able to take care of yourself, and the very real consideration for more education for a good job, and maybe she wants to continue on her own education, or employment.

Not very realistic to think your feelings won't change once you get away from home and meet new people either. They probably will, as can hers, and frankly may be very different from what you think now. We all grow and change and have "growing pains", that's natural for all humans.
