I bought an older sears tractor 11hp 36"cut,the ign.switch was frozen and I noticed someone had rigged up a shut off switch that went from engine to ground.I replaced the ign.switch,eliminated the shut off switch and now the eng.wont shut off---Help. The eng is a B&S mod. 252707--Any ideas??

Locate the ground wire coming from the engine and make sure its in the right slot on the keyswitch plug.
If some one had it mickey moused they could have moved the wires around. Luck

Thanks a lot DG I kind of figured that's what happened when I saw the switch hanging from a wire in the motor bay,soon as it gets warm enough I'll try it---Bill
