We have lost copies of emails from the sent folder of our Yahoo account. These were sent to two hotmail addresses. Yahoo say they have done all they can and can't help any further. Is there any way of retrieving copies via hotmail or has anyone got any other possible options, we can't contact the recipients, and ask for copies of these messages due to a family rift.

Since you are using webmail lost email is not reattainable. I am surprised Yahoo tried helping at all to be honest. They knew there was nothing they could do.

Your best option is to ask the recipients. Family rift or not that is actually your only option as far as getting these back.
