What supplies power to the ignition starter switch on a 1979 Dodge D100
I replaced the old broken instrument cluster with compatible Auto Meter gauges. To do this I had to cut the original (for lack of a better term) power dispersement unit for the old gauges and wired them individually to the new gauges. When I tried to start the truck there was no power coming into the (ISS) ignition starter switch (without tilt wheel). I replaced everything I could think of and find between the battery and the ISS. I'm not a mechanic, I just like doing things myself. Does anyone know how many fusible links there are in the truck and where they would be located? I've tried to look at the wiring diagram, but I missed my engineering class. Is there anywhere to find a straightforward hierarchy of the power distribution from the battery to the ISS? Thank you
