Go back and remove the cartridge, cover the valve body with a towel and have someone turn your main back on, do you get luke warm water after a bit? Your Moen may have integral stops so you might not need to close and open the main. The integral stops are screws on each side of the inlet for hot and for cold
Did that. I do have integral stops. When I unscrew one, nothing happens, then as I loosen the other, lukewarm water comes out. Doesn't matter which one is wide open, the same happens. Could it have anything to do with the furnace? Very confused
Hi Ragnarjr...
Take the cartridge out and rotate it 180 degrees and then reinstall... see if that fixes it.
Let me know what happens, OK?
Mark
Try what Mark suggests but then try closing both stops, remove the cartridge and open and close each stop. Did both produce water
