Have a 4 month old and breastfeeding have had normal cycle last month 2 days prior to my last period I had intercourse w/ Hubby. Period came on for normal 3 days went off expecting period to come on by the 24th- to now but 2nd week of Dec. had a heavy flow for just a day and half now nothing but pain in my belly. Would appreciate any help thanks

Could be your body is still getting back to a normal cycle and this was a one off as your system still adjusts... especially with breastfeeding. Certainly pregnancy could be a possibility as well. Intercourse right before a period would not normally result in a pregnancy, but having recently given birth and breastfeeding can certainly throw things off.

Maybe give it another week and try a pregnancy test if you don't get a period that would be considered normal for you. If negative, see what happens in January. If you continue to have pain, see your doctor.
