I was on birth control for about 5 years and I got off in may 2010 which makes it 7 months. Me and my boyfriend are trying to conceive. How can we get pregnant faster? Because he is leaving for the service soon?

Do you know when you ovulate? This is about the only way you can work in getting pregnant faster.

Why would you want to get pregnant when he is leaving? Wouldn't you want to wait until he gets back so that he could go to doctor's visits with you? Hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time together, see the baby for the first time on the ultrasound together, find out the sex of the baby together.

If you get pregnant before he leaves you will have to do all this alone and he will miss out on so much.

And to be honest, it often can take a year or more for it all to "click" and work. Plus while it may seem that you have to get pregnant now, is he first enlisting, or being deployed over seas ?
Often it may work better to wait till he is state sides and you can be together for birth

Yes, that is correct. My son had to drop his wife of at the hospital in labor last year and leave her there so that he could ship off to Iraq. She delivered alone and he didn't see his baby until she was 8 months old.
