I took my ex boyfriend to court because he is in the arrears with the child support for over 7,000 now 8,500. The judge place an order that if he misses 2 consecutive payment that a bench warrant will be issue for his arrest, the judge gave him another month, the order will take effect on Nov 1st. He made 2 payments the 1st two weeks an have not made anymore ever since.
How do I enforce the bench warrant.

Not much YOU can do... that I'm aware of. But if he gets stopped on a traffic violation or for some other thing... the bench warrant will turn up when they do their routine check and he will be taken into custody.

Keep in mind there are hundreds of thousands of other bench warrants issued nationally for far more dangerous offences. And yet they get treated exactly the same way.
