We had a clogged drain so we ran a drain snake through it. Now the drain snake is stuck! Any helpful thoughts or ideas?

As silly as it sounds goducks8 is there any chance the snake went UP the vent and is now snagged on the roof/vent stack? Check the roof real quick as I have seen this before... ;)

Otherwise, you could also have a broken pipe here and snake got out and snagged... maybe?

I'd find out how long the snake was and then measure the remaining linear footage and then see if I could determine where the snake snagged up. Then I could determine the next step.

Check the roof and let us know what you find, OK?
