My last cycle was on November 8 and on November 18th my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. Its December and I missed my period. I took a test(negative) so I thought nothing of it but now even though my breasts are the same size they hurt REALLY bad... and I'm getting a lot more headaches... I threw up only ONE time from a migraine the other night but other than that I don't feel sick. Could I still be pregnant and not know it?

It's possible that it was too early to test. When did you take the pregnancy test? Did you use first morning urine?

Yes u could be pregnant as u should know all tests are 99% accurate, plus u have had unprotected sex within your most fertile times which is usually 10 days after your period and lasts for up to 5 days. The best thing is to get another test done to be sure.and go to your gp.

Pregnancy tests are fairly accurate, but a lot depends on the woman, when the test was taken, the time of day the test was taken, and many other factors.

Some women don't get a positive result until their second, even third trimester of pregnancy so to say that the tests are 99% accurate isn't as accurate as you would think. If there's any doubt, see your doctor.

I was thinkn that it was too early when I took the test. I tested in the evening instead of the morning because I was told that morning was best but anytime of the day didn't really matter. Thinkn I'll retest with morning urine!!

I'm 25 and my boyfriend is 32 but we have been together for 3yrs. I don't have any kids and neither does he and we both want one now. Im just so confused by the symptoms that I'm having and needed advice... Thank You so much for yours:)

Thanks for the advice:) my first test was done in the evening and my period was 9 days late. My period is now 18days late and I'm going to retest with morning urine next time. (+) or (-) I'm going 2 my GP because if it's not pregnancy it could B serious

You definitely could still be pregnant. When I was pregnant with my first I didn't show a positive pregnancy test until 5 months. Same with blood tests. Everything was negative. Go by your gut feeling, and if you're really worried go to your doctor if you don't get your next period. I'd become worried then, not now.

Thanks:) I took a second test with morning urine this time and it was still negative. Im going 2 wait the month out & if no cycle then I'm going to the dr because the tests say no but my intuition says yes!! I just feel that I am...
