I moved in 7 months ago and had no furniture so this person gave me all the furniture now we are at odds she want to take it back can she? It is not listed in the lease or nothing and I have the furniture and she has receipts can I keep it or sell it? She is not listed on my lease so she is not my landlord but it was given to me by word of mouth can I keep it? No documentation stating about the furniture etc.

You seem to be contradicting yourself here. In the title of the thread, you say the apartment was furnished and the furniture was given by the owner. But then you say she is not your landlord. Is this a riddle?
