Toilet Backed up and washer pushed raw sewage into toilet?
We have a backed up toilet. I have used a snake and have removed some hair or something but the toilet still did not drain at that point. The washer was also draining and pushed raw sewage into toilet. I removed the toilet and used the snake again (25 feet) and nothing. I ran the washer to see if the back up occurred again and no back up. I do not have the toilet on, do I need to reattach the toilet to see if the blockage has been removed or do you think it would have backed up whe the washer was ran again?

    Hi SMN...

I think if the washer was an issue before and it is not an issue now that the drain line has been snaked then I have to figure you have cleared the blockage OR you have pushed the blockage even farther down the drain and you will find out when you reset the toilet... ;)

I think you will have good results!

Reset the toilet and if you still have issues pop back and we can discuss them with you, OK?

We are good to go. The toilet was hooked up, we have no leaks or sewage coming up. Thanks for responding so quickly.

Anytime "raw sewage" is involved that's always good news! :)

    Thanks for the update...
