Can the pool walls break if the water level gets too low?
This is the first winter with our pool in our new house, we have an above ground pool. I winterized the pool and covered it with the pillow, but during a bad storm, the clips that were holding the cover on are now broken and on some of the sides, there are gaps between the walls and the cover, so water snow and other debris are leakign into the pool. It also looks like the water level is really going down, so I'm guessing there is a leak in the pool. If the water level gets really low, is this bad for the pool? What can happen if the cover has snow on top but is also leaking into the pool? This is our first winter with the pool, and any advice would be great so the spring when we open it isn't crazy.

I am assumming it is a vinyl liner pool? If so then you need to have somebody drain it completely find and fix any and all leaks.
