I am trying to find out the title of a movie or name of an actor in a movie I saw maybe 6 months ago on television. I missed the beginning of the movie and do not recall everything accurately. It is very entertaining, funny and romance. I believe it deals with a guy that has a dilema between his promise to his boss (otherwise he would get fired if he told him that he was not gay) or follow his heart and choose to be with his bosses wife. He falls in love with the wife. The boss is very upset, although he has a girlfriend. He forfeits the award he could have won.

The 5 main characters: There are 2 young guys, just after college? friends living together, both of them are trying to be architects? The main character is a straight guy that poses to be a gay guy to a prospective employer. The guy is kind of handsome, he told the prospective employer that he is gay, so the employer can trust him to accompany his wife to a party. The other guy is gay, chubby and has a goatee. This actor looks very familiar. There are 3 more characters in this movie: the prospective employer (this actor also looks familiar), the employer's wife and the employer's girlfriend.

Plot: The straight guy is hired by the prospective employer, because he thinks the guy is gay, to watch over his very pretty wife. The employer cannot attend the party because he has a date with his girlfriend. My memory isn't great and some of the information I give could be incorrect. In one scene, the straight guy goes with the wife to her shop to blow glass. Another time, they walk in the rain and her heel breaks. They always seem to have a good time together. There is a scene where the gay guy has his gay friends come over to their apartment. The main character falls in love with the wife. But he doesn't admit it to himself? Because he is afraid of the employer and lose his job? Towards the end, the employer's wife knows? That he is straight and she falls in love with him. He goes to a theatre to accept a gay architect society award? During his acceptance speech, the bosses wife is in the theatre, he sees her, then announces to everyone that he is not gay. He disqualifies himself for the award since he is not gay. The award goes to his gay friend. The employer is upset because the guy broke their deal and he lost his wife. So there is a happy ending. The straight guy and employer's wife leave the theatre happily together.

I loved this movie and want to see it again, but I don't know the title. Some of the actors look very familiar but I don't know any of their names. Please help me and provide the movie title or any of the actors names and I will be forever indebted to you.

Thank You very much. That's it! I didn't watch Friends, so I didn't recognize Matthew Perry. Also Neve Campbell. She was her own kookie, adoreable self and very funny. But she was not the wife. I owe you one!
