    Issb, how did you determine that your dryer lost power? Did you use a multi-meter? Have you checked the breaker or fuses (if that's what you have)? Is this an electric or gas dryer?

    It is electric, just the fuse box and breaker OK, the door seems to be clicking tight. Just prior to the last load it was sqeaking, but some WD40 in back and noise stopped. Could that have something to do with it? Or time for a new one? 7 yrs old THANKS so much

    You could have shorted something out with the wd, where and how did you spray? You said " just the fuse box and breaker ok" do you have both? Did you manually turn the breaker off and reset it? Sometimes they look OK and still be knocked.
