I still love my ex-boyfriend.. help!
I was with my ex-boyfriend who is also my 1st boyfriend for about 3 years. We broke up because he was going into the air force and a long distance relationship wouldn't work out but we still remained close. About a year after he joined I went to go see him for about a week on the air force base and feelings were definitely still there for both. I wanted to be in a relationship but he didn't. After I got back home, I started talking to this new guy and 2 years later we have a son. The relationship was very rocky and he ended up in jail and wasn't there when I even gave birth. So fast forward another year and he can't get a job, homeless (staying at several different friends houses) and is not trying to help himself. I broke up with him because its been the same with him. Like, he say he would do something, then doesn't and how am I going to help someone who doesn't want to help themselves. You know?. well I started talking to my ex again on Facebook and he basically told me he still has feelings for me, would like to give it a try again, he comes home in the summer so he would like to see me. I asked him if me having a baby is a problem with anything.and he said no but he do wish that we would have had a child together. So I want to know should I try to make it work with my ex?. Also he renewed his stay in the force so it will probably be another 4-5 years before he gets out.. what should I do?.

Build a life for you, and your child, and not depend on anyone at all to make you happy.

You couldn't do the long distance thing before, probably can't now! What's the point? What are you expecting from his visit? You already know he won't be around for long don't you??

Well if you loved the guy at any point in time, then it is easy decision. Absolutely give it a TRY. People change and life goes on. If you care for him then see what happens. If you need to have someone there all the time and are afraid of being alone then don't bother. For his sake. But if you are independent and can be alone for long periods and it doesn't bother you then go for it just don't hold back and keep in close touch. Its hare to be away in the service and takes a lot of support. Write often. Hope it all works out for you. Out

I take care of my son just fine by myself.. it won't be long distance though because we'll live together eventually (as he says).. from his visit I'm expecting to spend time with him and see how everything goes..
