My child passport expired last October and now I'm applying for my first adult British passport.

I've used the online application and they have sent me a preprinted application but I made a tiny error: it asks 'how many uncancelled passports do I have' and I put 2 when in fact it's 1.

Is it OK if I just cross out the 2 and replace it with the 1 (keeping within the parameters of the box)?
It says to black out minor mistakes with a black pen, but I just want to make sure it's OK to do so

If they tell you how to correct a minor mistake, then just do exactly as they say and black it out and put in the correct answer.
