I saw this movie in the 80's I think it was set in the 70's but all I remember was that there was like a race or something and the guy needed a car and had to get one from his princapal and they go out to the foot ball field and with one push of a button the field opens and the car comes up and I know there's a movie with basically the same story line called catch me if you can I'm not looking for that movie thank you have a nice day

I know what you are saying because I saw the same flick on HBO back in the day. All because of the Jukebox right? Basically the kid get's into trouble with the wrong crowd and has the fastest race car in town for being a High School kid and all, but the thugs trash his ride. So he gets the car from his principal to go across town and back within a certain time limit. The legend's name is Fast Eddie I think. Hopefully this is the movie you are talking about, and hope this triggers the movie title for you!

The name of that movie is catch me if you can and the legends name if fast freddie but in that movie they dig the car out of the football field the movie I'm looking for has the football splitting in the middle at the 50 yard line but that's all I can remember
