I'm mary. I really like this guy, and he's funny,smart,cute,and one of my friends. My problem is that he likes my sister. She doesn't like him,but how to I draw him away from her and towards me?

Well guys are very straight forward just say I like you my sister doesn't and if he says he doesn't like you or suggests something like that then he is a guy that thinks he is too good for you and it wouldn't have worked out anyway

Are there any movies coming out that you have talked about wanting to see? Ask him if he would like to go see it with you. Maybe ask if he wants to go the next school sponsored event such as a game, play, concert, etc. If you are really nervous maybe make it a group outing with other friends. A chance to get to know him on a more personal level without the pressure of a 'date'.
