Ok so I have been dealing with this guy I like a lot. See we met each other the beg. Of freshman yr. (we are still freshman) and we have been good friends but he recently like 2!weeks ago told me he likes me and you know how guy friends are they like nudge him every time I see him or we are just talking. It seems like we are more than friends because we talk everyday and every time we see each other we are up under each others arms and it helps because I'm way shorter than him. It seems that we are perfect for each other and we know too much about each other but we are just friends. Everyone who knows this situation always asks me did he ask you yet? Or like why aren't you guys together? I really don't know why. All the signs are there and he just won't do anything to make it more. Not that I need a label but I'm just confused on why he won't do anything to make anything happen. Don't you think if someone admits to really liking you they should pursue you! I have thought asking him but I don't want to scoop that low and almost look desperate. I don't know what to do.. should I ignore him and just see what he does or like pursue him?.

Maybe he is still working up the nerve. You can ask him if he wants to go do something without it looking desperate. Since you are good friends, and friends hang out together, there would be nothing unusual about you saying something like, "Hey, do you want to go see "xyz" at the movies next week"?

Well guys have to work up the nerve like the above post says.. I've been through many times when I've told a girl I liked her and she seemed not to act the same way, but its just being paranoid. Just ask him if he wants to hang out and do something just the two of you. Talk to him and soon you'll be together! Don't over analyze!
