My GE Profile refrigerator (PFSS9PKYASS)has the blinking display showing 86/88 on the freezer side and 88 on the frig side. None of the command buttons will work for the temp or light/alarm as well as the water/ice. The temps inside the frig seem normal. Any ideas what could cause this and how do I check for codes when the buttons do not function.

Press and hold energy saver and alarm/ light
For 8 seconds.
Some time a power surge does this.
If that doesn't work its probably the main board.
