Why would I get an extreme injury during Sleep and is this common?
If you read my other questions you know about my problem. Extreme injury during sleep and I woke up in pain.

I thought when you go to sleep and dream your body is paralyzed so you don't get hurt tryingtto act your dreams. But apparently, my body didn't paralyze cause I got injured.

Is it common for people to get injuries this way?

Your body isn't paralyzed while you're asleep. Normally, you're very relaxed and limp. Some people are wild and even violent when they're asleep; it's a medical condition known as Sleep Behavior Disorder (R.B.D.), which was formally identified in 1985 by sleep specialists at the University of Minnesota and Stanford. Maybe you're one of those.

Interesting. Well I don't think I ever been wild when asleep. Cause if I did I would probably have fallen from bed and that's never happened. The only things I have felt before are sore fingers.. but not often.

Some people sleep walk and do various activities even, But no you move around a lot, may hit things near your bed.

Or worst, my wife who studies martial arts had a dream where she was in a tournament, and she did a "punch" well, I can tell you she scored a point with that one the other nght.
