    New washer kitchen sink gurgles
    Hello experts:
We just had to buy a new Maytag top loading washer (not the best, not the cheapest.) When it drains our kitchen sink gurgles (the water isn't sucked out though.) With our old washer (made in 1994) we did not have this problem - any ideas?

How about a explanation? I have had many complaints about the new Maytag washer pumps. They discharge with so much more force and volume that some older systems can't carry the load and back up out of the stand pipe. In your case it's attempting to vent through the kitchen sink trap. You should snake out the kitchen and washer roof vents to be sure. Good luck, Tom
