Help, I have no water coming from any of my hot water taps. The combi boiler has come on and is making funny noises so I have turned it off. I need the heating on as I live with my elderly dad who is sick.

A combi. Boiler is too hard to diagnose over the internet. It could be any of 10-12 different things and if you need your heat back on quickly 'cause of an elderly parent then I figure you don't have time to mess around with us guessing at what the issue could be.

Call a local plumber. I'm betting he'll have it up and running pretty quick off!
