Will plumbing angle stops hold air pressure?
I am testing a plumbing loop with air pressure before hooking up to the water supply. I wonder if any of the compression stop valves and/or shark bite fittings hold air pressure.

If my angle stops hold water pressure at 65-80max. Then I am sure it will hold air. Shark bites are used but I would suggest to using proper fittings.

Air pressure should be 50 psi at 15 minutes.

    Hi Frankvelma...

YUP! The fittings will hold water or air pressure... what they are designed for.

In my area you want to test to 100PSI for 15 minutes.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the information. Will test the loop at 100 psi for 15 min and hope my work holds!
