Question about suing for car damages
Allrite, there's this person, who is no longer my friend, who owes me about $5000.oo in damages to my car. Doors need to be replaces because he ran into in with his body and completely destroyed two doors. And the windshield needs to be replaced because he threw a rock at the window from the window, and now I need to also pay for a ticket for the window, the interior of the car has also been destroyed as well. He said that he would gradually help pay for things like the window, and I haven't heard anything from him since, I just wanted to know if I could bring him to court for these damages and get the money that he said he would pay me.
    -Thanks

    Hello Nipples:

Of course you can sue him. You can win too, if you can prove your case.

As excon said, you can sue him and probably win, but that's only half the battle. You then need to collect. That means YOU have to find his assets and attach them. So you need to know where he works to file a salary garnishment or his bank account info to attach the cash.

All you need to do is prove he did it, A police report, or explain why you did not call the police. A witness and the such

But yes you can sue him, just have to prove your case in court
