How do I replace a stripped out seat?
While trying to remove the seat to replace it with a new one it was so old it stripped out instantly. It is visibly damaged and needs to be replaced. Is there a way to get it out?

    Hi,

I am picturing that you are talking about a valve seat. If so, what I have done and used is a tiny saw blade. Just be patient and don't cut through the threads. When u cut it thin use a tool and knock it loose.

    Hi Jason...

Go to home depot and see if they have a 1/4" EASY OUT extraction tool. Install the easy out into a hand-held drill and push down real hard as you turn the drill on. Most of the time, this will work.

If that fails to work you can try a MINI-HACKSAW blade... takes some doing, but this will work if you take your time.

Let us know how you make out, OK?
