Pain on inside of left foot above the arch
I am a 71 year old walker, a few weeks ago I was setting in my recliner when a sever pain started in my foot just above the arch on the inside of my foot behind the ankle, the pain came on very severe and then quit then returned this happened for about 20 minutes I finally iced the foot and the pain quit. I continue to walk 5 miles a day. Last night the severe pain woke me up in the middle of the night and again ice eased it in a few minutes.
Today it has continued to be painful off and on. It only comes on when I am at rest. I took my regular walk today and no pain while I was up and moving. Any ideas??
