    I feel terrible & depressed
Ive been depressed years ago.. but sometimes I feel so happy and suddenly become so confident, and when that period is over, I just fall back worse than I've been before.
I was very happy, cheerful and confident for a few weeks including yesterday where my happy period was over :(. I was happy and all because I had a new crush whom I know likes me, but just a few hours ago found out something that made me decide that I should get over him and move ob. And now I feel miserable and depressed. What should I do? I want get over him & be happy again! I miss being happy... :( :(
I tried talking to my friends but nothing is working !

You can't depend on people or things to make you happy. Happiness must come from within you.

Here's a site that gives ideas on how to be happy: How to Find Happiness: 7 Timeless Tips from the Last 2500 Years

Giving to others is one way to get happy. The Bible says that you find yourself by losing yourself in service to others. You don't have to give materials things or money -- just your time, such as volunteering at a library or an animal shelter or a hospital.

Does any of this make sense to you? Do you have an opportunity to volunteer somewhere or to help someone (for free!) in your neighborhood?

OK this is kind of serious it can be because of bipolarism. I myself am bipolar and have had several manic attacks. The best thing for bipolarism is being unstinmulated for a few days ( not too long though) if its not bipolarism then its probably a bad breakthrough or something. Give yourself time. Listen to music ( best treatment) try reading books (best way to go into a magical world for hours together. Spend a little time with your family. Get to know yourself . One more thing never ever get so worked up over a guy. If the guy doesn't like you he's probably not in his right mind. So take a break and discover yourself

I get these as well and I'm 16, and I satrted to think maybe I'm bipolar, as mental health problems run in my family -scritsophernia- (spl?) BUT I noticed that things that really make me feel good is when I help someone, or when I make someone smile or laugh. Plus when I do art or listen and find some good new music. Reading a book can be great as well as well watching a epic film. Maybe go on holiday or spend time in a sunny place. Keep stimulating your senses and mind by trying new things, could be food or clothes. When someone puts you down or insults you, think about why they said and start to list the GOOD things. We all have faults and we should embrase them, because our faults could be our blessings. To get over the guy, comfront him? Or maybe don't listen to gossip, because they aren't always true :) x good luck and I hope and pray you get well all of you XD x
