I'm a 24 yo male and my dad died this past July of cancer. A month later I got married, after moving the wedding date from the month before my dad died. Now my mom really hates me and my wife (w hich she neverreally cared for anyway) she's always saying how me and my dad abandoned her and everything's messed up because we had family from the funeral and my wedding in the house. She says my wife is evil and she hates me and she wishes she was dead all the time. My wife and I are living with her while my house is being renovated (since we were married) this is taking a toll on both me and my wife what can I do to seem to get things back to normal and maybe get her to stop and see what she's doing. Its killing me and my marriage and it seems killing her too. How can I let her know I'm here for her and I love her and make her stop being so hateful to me.

Move out of your mom's house as soon as possible if you want to save your sanity. The expense of moving into a motel or hotel will over rule anything else at the present time and possibly mend fences. Then... you can go back, by yourself, and have some quiet talks with your mom about the issues she has with your wife and yourself.
