    Hi,

I live in UK too and have been wanting to get HQ4% or higher. So far according to my research you have following options:

    • Get it on perscription.
    • Buy it from abroad and risk it being not genuine product, it may even get confescated at customs. If it gets through, be prepared to pay hefty excise duty.
    • Buy the powder (appearently you can buy it from photo printing shops) and make your own cream.

Let me know how you got on.

Thanks you have provided me with the best answer on here so far.
In terms of getting it on prescription I gather this will be from a dermatologist rather than her regular GP?

With regards to buying the powder, we have done a bit of research in the passed and have found that as part of the EU being in the UK restricts where one can buy it from any ideas? Alternatively we are considering using arbutin

Black hair stores in the UK are restricted from selling hydroquinone. Online stores are slightly worrying we don't really want to go through the scamming experience =|

It has been tried, many shops may deny it but we have definitely tried and it seems quite time consuming to go round to every hair shop within the UK to ask. Thanks though

Sorry was only trying to help, there are a few places online that will help with the labelling to the UK but you have to ask, best of luck
