Ok I don't really know how to start so I'll just jump right in. I'm 16 and at the end of summer I started meeting up with a boy. I was 15 at the time and he was 17. We were meeting up casually for over a month until I told him I wanted something more serious. He agreed and we started going out and everything was great. Then my older brothers found out and they told my mother who over acted and I broke up with him reluctently. After less than a week he had a new girlfriend and I was left on my own and feeling awful. I've had two flings since but still can't get over him. It's been almost 3 months now and we were only going out a month. Is this very strange? Thanks.

Not unusual at all considering all the drama that happened in a month or so. Between meeting, getting together, and your parents breaking you up, and he gets a new girl, and you had two rebounds, yeah, that's lot to get over I would say.

No more flings please, just heal properly.
