    Help rotating Toilet 90%
    Hi Folks,

We're remodeling our laundry room, which is a 1/2 bath (has a toilet and sink).

We want to rotate out toilet 90 degrees to the right, so it is inline with the length of the room.

I have the toilet off now.. And see the two brass screw studs in the ground (screwed in to pipe?). The floor all around is concrete.

We'd love it, if we can have two new studs put in, to be able to rotate our head 90 degrees. We feel it will fit the room better. I can't tell if there are two existing holes already to put new screw studs in to, or if they can be added (drilled?)

Can I get a plastic/metal flange to fit the existing screw studs, add two new screws off set 90 degrees, screw the flange to the ground, then mount the toilet to the new flange?

Figured I'd better ask before trying and buying.

    Thanks much!:) :)

Most flanges have slots so that you can move the bolts around, you would be lucky if they would turn move that much. If it happens to be a plastic flange with a metal ring around it those will turn 360 degrees.
Let me know what kind of flange you have and what kind of sewer pipe it is connected to and maybe I can give you some better advice.

Look at the flange I have put up. The closet bolts in you flange are setting in the long slots. All you need to do is slip them into the shorter slots which are 90 degrees in relation to the long slots and reset the toilet. Good luck, Tom
